26. Mai 2025

Ort:

Anatomische Anstalt der LMU Pettenkoferstraße 11 Kleiner Hörsaal (A202) 80336 München

Sprecher: Prof. Dr. Michael Pusch
Moderation: Prof. Dr. Annette Nicke, Prof. Dr. Dr. Christian Grimm (LMU)

Michael Pusch is Research Director at the Institute of Biophysics of the Italian National Research Council in Genoa and currently Visiting Fellow at CAS. His research interests include the biophysical properties of voltage-gated chloride channels (CLC), regulating the acidic luminal pH in endolysosomes. These intracellular vesicular organelles play an important role in cellular functions. Mutations in CLCs result in a change in the luminal pH and can lead to global developmental delays, various psychiatric disorders, lysosomal storage diseases and neurodegeneration.
